IQALUIT, Nunavut (February 25, 2020) - The Nunavut Leadership Forum will convene at 09:00am (EST) on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, to select a new Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. The Nunavut Leadership Forum consists of all Members of the Legislative Assembly. A formal motion to appoint the Speaker will be made at the beginning of the next sitting of the House.

IQALUIT, Nunavut (March 20, 2020) - As a precautionary measure in response to the COVID-19 situation, access to the Legislative Building has been restricted.
 
Public tours and general visitor access to the Legislative Building have been suspended until further notice. Persons with appointments at the Legislative Assembly are advised to make appropriate advance arrangements to gain access to the facility.
