IQALUIT, Nunavut (September 10, 2020) - Speaker Paul Quassa today announced that the House has been recalled to sit at 1:30pm on Monday, September 21, 2020.

Speaker Quassa said, “The focus of the upcoming September sitting will be the consideration of proposed supplementary appropriation bills arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and other business. I am very pleased that our legislature’s two newest Members representing Baker Lake and Kugluktuk will take their seats during the sitting. The dates of the fall sitting will be announced shortly after the House reconvenes later this month.”

Speaker Quassa added, “Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there is a need to follow physical distancing guidelines and avoid non-essential travel.
