Release of the Report of the Integrity Commissioner

IQALUIT, Nunavut (March 28, 2022) - Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Tony Akoak today released the Report of the Integrity Commissioner of Nunavut to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Concerning the Possible Conflict of Interest Respecting the Appointment of the Acting Deputy Minister of Human Resources.

Section 48 of the Integrity Act provides that the Legislative Assembly “shall consider a report laid before the Legislative Assembly within 10 sitting days after the report is laid before the Legislative Assembly, and shall respond to the report before the end of the session in which the report is laid before it.”
