Edward Attagutaluk was elected on December 15, 2025, to represent the constituency of Aggu in the 7th Legislative Assembly of Nunavut.
Prior to his election, Mr. Attagutaluk was employed by the territorial Department of Culture and Heritage as a Program Officer. He has also worked for the territorial Department of Finance.
Mr. Attagutaluk’s educational background includes management studies.
Mr. Attagutaluk has served as Deputy Mayor of Igloolik, a member of the Board of Directors of the Igloolik Hunters and Trappers Association and a member of the Board of Directors of the Igloolik Co-op.
Mr. Attagutaluk has been a long-time volunteer with Igloolik’s community radio station.
Mr. Attagutaluk is the proud father of Raphael, Daniel, Thaddeus, Elanor, Trina Rose, Olivia and Kassandra.
Mr. Attagutaluk‘s personal interests include hunting.
