Solomon Malliki was elected in the general election held on October 25, 2021, to represent the constituency of Aivilik in the 6th Legislative Assembly of Nunavut.
Mr. Malliki is a former school community counsellor and owner of an outfitting business. Mr. Malliki has served as the Mayor of Naujaat and is a past member of the board of directors of the Naujaat Housing Association.
His volunteer activities include search and rescue and firefighting.
Solomon and Bernice Malliki are the proud parents of Andy, Bridgett, Lee-John, Mason and Max-Joshua. Mr. Malliki’s personal interests include hunting and other outdoor pursuits.
