Bobby Anavilok was elected in the general election held on October 25, 2021, to represent the constituency of Kugluktuk in the 6th Legislative Assembly of Nunavut.
Mr. Anavilok is an artist whose work has been exhibited in a number of institutions. Mr. Anavilok has served as the Vice-Chair of the board of directors of the Kugluktuk Angoniatit Hunters’ and Trappers’ Association, a member of the Joint Planning and Management Committee for the Kugluk/Bloody Falls Territorial Park and a member of the board of directors of the Kugluktuk Co-op.
His volunteer activities include teaching traditional skills to youth through such initiatives as the Kugluktuk Brighter Futures Program.
Mr. Anavilok is the proud father of Crystal, James and Lauren. Mr. Anavilok’s personal interests include hunting and other outdoor pursuits.
