Gordon Kautuk was elected in the general election held on October 27, 2025, to represent the constituency of Uqqummiut in the 7th Legislative Assembly of Nunavut.
Mr. Kautuk serves as a member of the Management and Services Board.
Prior to his election, Mr. Kautuk was employed by the Municipality of Clyde River as a Planning and Lands Administrator.
Mr. Kautuk has served on the Municipal Council of Clyde River, the District Education Authority, the Community Justice Committee and the Nangamautaq Hunters and Trappers Association. He has also held leadership positions in the Nunavut Employees Union.
Gordon and Linda Tigullaraq-Kautuk are the proud parents of Stephanie, Elisapee and Hope.
Mr. Kautuk‘s personal interests include the study of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit.
