“The standing committee’s recent televised hearing on the Auditor General of Canada’s report to the Legislative Assembly on the issue of climate change in Nunavut provided an opportunity for elected MLAs to consider the QEC’s progress in the area of renewable energy,” said Committee Co-Chairperson John Main, MLA for Arviat North-Whale Cove. “Our upcoming hearing will allow for further detailed examination of the corporation’s operations in a variety of areas.”

The Legal Services Board’s appearance before the standing committee begins at 1:30pm on Monday, October 1, 2018.
